जेपी अस्पताल में सोनोग्राफी करने वाले एक डॉक्टर के संक्रमित पाए जाने की पुष्टि के बाद कई गर्भवती महिलाओं के संक्रमित होने का खतरा बढ़ गया है। अब हफ्ते भर तक बंद रहेगा जेपी अस्पताल का सोनोग्राफी रूम।

इसकी वजह यह कि संक्रमण की चपेट में आए डाक्टर ने बीते शनिवार तक हर दिन करीब 150 गर्भवती महिलाओं की सोनोग्राफी की।

जिले में आधी से ज्यादा गर्भवती को टीका नहीं लगा है। जिन्हें लगा है उनमें भी आधी को सिर्फ पहली डोज लगी है। गर्भवती महिलाओं की प्रतिरोधक क्षमता वैसे भी कमजोर रहती है।
