राजस्थान के करौली में महिला अपराध विशेष अनुसंधान प्रकोष्ठ एवं महिला थाना करौली ने शादी के बहाने युवतियों की खरीद-फरोख्त और दुष्कर्म के मुख्य आरोपी को आज गिरफ्तार किया।

हेड कांस्टेबल सुरेन्द्र सिंह ने बताया कि पुलिस ने शादी के बहाने युवतियों की खरीद-फरोख्त और दुष्कर्म के आरोप में मुख्य आरोपी सुभाष नाथ जोगी निवासी टोडाटुडिला बामनवास सवाई माधोपुर हाल जयपुर को पकड़ा है।

मामले में पुलिस पूर्व में तीन महिलाओं सहित आठ लोगों को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज चुकी है। गौरतलब है कि 19 अगस्त को करौली कोतवाली को शहर के जगदंबा लॉज में शादी के बहाने महिलाओं की खरीद-फरोख्त के लिए गैंग के आने की सूचना मिली थी।

सूचना पर पहुंची पुलिस ने जगदंबा लॉज से दो युवतियों, तीन महिलाओं सहित करीब 10 लोगों को पकड़ा था। इसके बाद पुलिस ने शादी के बहाने बेचने के लिए लाई गई युवतियों के बयान के आधार पर आठ लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया था। पुलिस आरोपी से पूछताछ कर अन्य वारदातों के खुलासे का प्रयास कर रही है।
